Panjiri:
It is a ladoo packed with nutrients and highly fibrous ingredients. This prasad is a vital offering during this festival. It has rich spices like cardamom (used in powdered form) and coriander seeds (used in powder form). It contains enriching dry fruits like cashew nuts, almonds, pistachios, raisins, and khajur (dates) and is bound in a round shape using desi ghee and jaggery powder.
Panjiri is a boon for post-pregnancy; it helps to heal the body, stimulate breast milk flow, and keeps you energetic all day long. It also helps to regain strength post delivery. Panjiri generates heat in the body. So, people living in cold regions can get benefit from consuming it. It relieves sore muscles, lubricates joints, and reduces body aches.

Makhan-Mishri:
When you think about Makhan, the following thought is of Shri Krishna. You can almost imagine him eating Makhan from the matkas. His favourite dish was Makhan (White Butter) with mishri (Sugar). His stories of stealing Makhan from gopis remind us of Baal Krishna and his notorious childhood days.

Kheer:
Sweet rice as you know it, or rice with milk, is called kheer. It has sugar, cardamom powder, and nuts to enhance its taste. A cup of kheer is as heavy as a fuller meal. This dish is heaven for sweet lovers. It is a power-packed dish filled with flavours. This sweet dish is an offering to Lord Krishna as a part of ‘Chaapan Bhog’ at the midnight celebration of Janmashtami.

Panchamrit:
Panchamrit is a liquid made of 5 ingredients - milk, curds, sugar, honey, and ghee. Shri Krishna's devotees use panchamrit to bathe him at the midnight celebrations on the occasion of Janmashtami. This milky concoction is prepared using fresh milk, curd, ghee, honey, sugar/jaggery, tulsi leaves, and makhana. After finishing the midnight rituals, panchamrit is given to the devotees as part of the prasad. It tastes heavenly.
It is beneficial to balance the Pitta Dosha, improve immunity, and enhance brain functioning, memory, and creative abilities. It clears the complexion and keeps hair healthy and boosts the health of the mother and fetus if consumed during pregnancy.
