Any cricket match is incomplete without sipping on our favourite beverage - Chai! The Indian tea, also known as chai, is a popular and aromatic beverage made with a blend of spices, milk, sugar, and tea leaves. It's a staple in Indian households and is an integral part of any and every occasion. Here's how to make Indian tea at home:
Ingredients:
- 2 cups water

- 2-3 teaspoons sugar (or as per taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon tea masala (blend of spices, see recipe below)
Cooking Instructions:
- In a saucepan, add water and Vasant Tea Masala and bring it to a boil.
- Reduce the heat and add loose tea leaves to the pan. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until the tea is infused with the spices.
- Bring the milk to a boil in the pan. Keep stirring occasionally to prevent the milk from boiling over.
- Once the milk comes to a boil, add sugar and stir until it dissolves. Simmer for another minute or two.
- Strain the tea into a teapot or directly into serving cups. Serve hot and enjoy!
